This is a stunning and powerful collection of embroidered panels by Holocaust survivor, Esther Krinitz, as she chronicled her remarkable journey of living through the Holocaust in Poland. In 1977, at the age of 50, she began embroidering a collection of infinitely complex works accompanied by meticulously stitched words providing a narrative to reveal both the extreme horrors of war as well as cherished family memories shared before the war. Told in her own words with commentary written by her daughter, this is an extraordinary look back to a time and events never to forget.
