In the years between WW I and WW II Janusz Korczak became a writer, doctor, educator and an enlightened leader in education and child development.  Dr. Korczak established  a Jewish orphanage in Warsaw where he advocated for children's rights.  When the Nazis occupied Warsaw, Dr. Korczak refused to be saved, marching with his 200 orphans to the train taking them to their deaths. Ages 8-12.
