It is 1924 and George Gershwin has been asked to compose a new concerto that exemplifies American music.  He is given just a few weeks notice.  In his quest for just the right melody he discovers that American music is much like it’s people — a melting pot of sounds, rhythms and harmonies.  Ages 7-10.
