Two sisters from Queens, NY, Sam 17 and Sophie 15, are forced to leave their home and live their life on the lam.  Afraid that their evil stepmother will separate them after their father died, they take their father's money and run.  They change their names, dye their hair and take up a new hobby -- solving missing persons cases.  At the same time, they're working hard to make sure they stay missing themselves.
