When a terrorist explosion kills a young woman at a cafe in Jerusalem, seventeen year old Tal Levine who is a witness becomes despondent. She writes a letter, puts it in a bottle and asks her brother to toss it into the Gaza sea. A young Palestinian man finds the bottle and responds to her letter. At first he is angry and critical. Eventually they embark on a friendship that ultimately opens their eyes to each other's lives and hearts.
