In Keeping Israel Safe, we are introduced to four young Israeli's who are learning about their options in serving their country. Each must choose an option because all Israeli teens (men and women) must serve their country either in the military or alternative service. The book chronicles the history of Israel's army from its pioneer days through the founding of the State, and shows how advanced technology and intelligence systems have led to the creation of one of the most admired armies in the world. Ages 9-12.
