Reach for the Stars: A Little Torah’s Journey The story begins with the joyous life of Dutch Rabbi Simon Dasberg, with his family in Holland. Their happiness abruptly ends with the Nazi invasion. The story continues in the Bergen-Belsen concentration camp where the little smuggled-in little torah served to train a young boy for his bar mitzvah and went on to have a huge impact on a people, a nation and the world. Colorful painted illustrations are interspersed with bold photographs from the tragic space mission. |
