A collection of twenty eight prayers, all exclusively for recitation by women. One prayer on each topic concerning the cycle of a woman's life from birth to death is selected. Supplementary texts quoted from traditional Jewish sources have been added to many of them to enrich and deepen the perception of the prayers. Accompanying each prayer are striking reproductions of the author's hand-done artwork which combines paper cutting with calligraphy and color illumination enhanced by gold leaf on parchment. Also included are reproductions of her paper cuts, laser-cut in paper and wood or etched onto glass and metal.
